Our family-focused program, Mishpacha!, is a unique experience where the whole family gets to learn about Judaism together. Sessions begin with a combined student and parent group meeting to set the stage for the day’s lesson. Then students break into age-specific learning groups while parents explore the same topics as their children together with Rabbi Mo. Before concluding, everyone comes together to share in the experiential application of the day’s teachings. Students and parents alike get the best of both worlds – exploring Judaism as a family while also forming bonds with their own peers within the Temple Micah community. Nowhere is this more apparent than at the Mishpacha! Weekend Retreat, held annually at the YMCA of the Rockies, where families come together for deep learning, engaging discussion and a healthy dose of family fun. Here’s a quick snapshot of the Mishpacha! schedule.

We have a few “mosts” about what we like about Micah. The Mishpacha! retreats are a family favorite. [We enjoyed] making strong connections with other families.
