High Holydays Tzedakah Opportunities

High Holydays Food and Personal Care Items Drive

(led by the B’nai Mitzvah Class of 5784)
You can participate by ...

  1. Grabbing a grocery bag at RH Services

  2. Bringing it back full on YK with any of the needed items.

  3. Joining the Park Hill community in helping Denverites experiencing homelessness.

  4. Donating to Mazon, the Jewish anti-hunger agency, in honor of the New Year.

Project Angel Heart
(Rosh Hashanah)

We will be decorating the bags that Project Angel Heart uses to deliver its meals.
You can participate by …
  • Helping decorate bags between our Rosh Hashanah Family Service and Rosh Hashanah morning service.

Chesed Bags
(Yom Kippur)

We will assembling Chesed Bags for Micah-ites to take with us to share with people experiencing homelessness.
You can participate by …
  • Helping to assemble bags between our Yom Kippur Family Service and Yom Kippur morning service.
  • Making a donation to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund to help pay for the items in the chesed bags.
  • Take a bag home with you on Yom Kippur and share with someone in need.
