About the Event
Spring is in the air, and you know what that means – it’s time for Temple Micah’s annual fundraising celebration! Last year, we had such an amazing time, we’re doing it again! Join us for a day full of fun, community, laughter, a cornhole tournament, and delicious BBQ.
Our Temple Micah community thrives because of your participation and generosity. This Spring Fling & BBQ Thing is both our biggest celebration and our most crucial fundraising event of the year. Come with your open hearts, your playful spirits, and your ready-to-party attitudes. Together, we’ll make this an afternoon to remember!
Ticket Prices
Individual: $36
Couple: $54
Family (up to 5): $90
While we highly encourage that you register in advance so you don’t have to wait in line, we understand that plans can change, and we will accept on-site registrations.
Sponsors Needed!
Temple Micah’s budget depends on the revenue from our spring fundraising, and this year our goal is to raise $54,000! To reach this, we need sponsors above and beyond ticket sales. Please consider adding this generosity to your list of annual mitzvahs. Every sponsor receives a family ticket to the event, along with recognition at the event and in the Micah Messenger.
Sponsorship Levels:
Mitzvah: $360 – family ticket + recognition
Mazel: $990 – family ticket, recognition, + 1 cornhole team entry
Maven: $1800 – family ticket, recognition, + 2 cornhole team entries
Mensch: $3600 – family ticket, recognition, 2 cornhole team entries + a Shabbat oneg in your name
Maximum Mensch: $5400 – family ticket, recognition, 2 cornhole team entries, an oneg in your name, signage at BBQ lunch

Cornhole Tournament
We’re hosting a super casual, ridiculously fun Cornhole Tournament – and by “tournament,” we mostly mean an excuse to hang out, laugh at ourselves, and toss beanbags after eating BBQ.
No experience? No problem. The rules are easy, the competition is friendly, and the biggest prize is likely to be a plastic trophy from the dollar store.
Cost: $50 for a team of 2.
Dessert Bar
Calling all bakers…polish off those amazing dessert recipes…we’re having a dessert bar at the Spring Fling! Everyone is invited to bring a dessert (homemade or store-bought!) to share.
