By focusing on the development of the child, not just their Jewish education, Temple Micah provides a holistic learning experience for children from Pre-Kindergarten through high school. Pre-K to 7th Grades
A traditional, age-based learning environment for those who prefer an individual student-centered approach.
6th & 7th Grades
A 2-year commitment, this program prepares students and gives them the tools specific to becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

An innovative journey through Judaism designed for the entire family to participate in together.
8th & 9th Grades
Focused on developing students’ leadership skills, this program trains students to be teachers and leaders both in- and out-side the classroom.
Mission Chai School
10th, 11th & 12th Grades
Centered on advocacy and culminating in a lobbying trip, our teen program, with the help of Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), introduces students to the power potential of young adult activists.
Director of Youth Education
Amy Krivel is Director of Youth Education and joined the Temple Micah staff in 2018. A native of Denver, Amy went to CSU for undergrad and taught high school in Honduras for 3 years. She eats, sleeps and breathes youth curriculum and program design and is excited to be working in Jewish education. She's been inspired by the Micah community who she says has, "embraced and welcomed me with warmth." In her free time, Amy enjoys running, cycling and teaching group fitness classes. She somehow manages to find time for reading, travel and playing with her two dogs.
